A comfort rating means something only when a laboratory has tested the bag to ISO 23537. Most bags at this price never were — the figure is copied off a supplier sheet and passed from shop to shop.
Look across this price band and the same physical bag is sold as −10 °C by one shop and −20 °C by another. Both cannot be true.
So we publish only what the manufacturer states and we can stand behind: the down type, the fill weight in grams, the lining, the dimensions — and the conditions in plain words.

Why is there no temperature rating on your bags?
Because we have not had them laboratory-tested to ISO 23537, and a comfort figure without a test is a guess presented as data. We publish the fill weight, the down type and the dimensions instead, and describe the conditions in words. Read the full position →
How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed in 1–3 working days, then 7–14 working days to arrive, tracked throughout. We ship directly from our fulfilment partners in Asia, which is why the same specification costs less here and why it takes longer than a domestic warehouse. Shipping policy →
Will I be charged anything on delivery?
On orders under £135, no — UK VAT is already included in the price you pay. On orders of £135 or more the carrier may collect import VAT; send us the receipt and we reimburse it in full.
Which fill weight should I buy?
400 g for mild summer nights, 600 g for UK spring and autumn, 800 g for cool three-season use, 1000–1200 g for winter, 1500 g and above for frost and expedition use. These are our recommendations rather than tested ratings. If you are between two, take the heavier one. Full fill guide →
Do I need a mat as well?
Yes, if you are sleeping on the ground. Down compressed under your body loses almost all of its loft, so the underside of the bag insulates you barely at all — the mat is what stops the ground taking your heat. See the mats →
Can I return a bag if it is not right?
Yes — 30 days from delivery, unused and in its packaging. That is twice the legal minimum. Refunds go back to your original payment method within five working days of us receiving it. Returns policy →
How do I wash a down bag without ruining it?
Rarely, and never dry clean. Use a down-specific detergent on a cold gentle cycle, then tumble dry low with two clean tennis balls until the clusters separate — expect two or three cycles. Store it loose, never compressed.
