The thing you hope never to open. It weighs about as much as a chocolate bar, lives in the lid of a rucksack for years, and on the one night it is needed it keeps a body heat in when everything else has gone wrong.

What it is, and what it is not
This is a survival item, not a sleeping bag. It has no insulation of its own — it works by reflecting your own body heat back and stopping wind and rain from stripping it away. You will not sleep well in one. You will, however, be considerably warmer than you would be without it.
Slit down one side it also works as a groundsheet or, with a length of cord, as a lean-to shelter. Mountain Rescue teams in the UK have been telling walkers to carry one for decades, and it is the cheapest piece of safety kit in this shop.

This bag has not been laboratory-tested to ISO 23537, so a comfort figure would be a guess dressed up as data. Across this price band you will find the same physical bag advertised as −10 °C by one shop and −20 °C by another.
