A tapered down mummy bag for cold British nights. Choose the fill weight for the conditions you actually camp in — the grams are printed on every listing, because that is the figure that decides how warm you are.
Choosing the fill weight
We have not had this bag laboratory-tested, so what follows is our own guidance rather than a tested rating. More down means more warmth and more weight, in that order.
- 400 g — summer nights, festivals, hut and hostel use.
- 600 g — British spring and autumn camping, the option most people end up with.
- 800 g — late autumn, exposed pitches, anyone who sleeps cold.
- 1000–1200 g — winter and frost, car camping where the packed size matters less.
It opens out flat
Unzipped all the way round, the bag lies flat as a quilt or a ground mat — useful in a van, in an awning, or as something warm to put a child on. It packs back into the compression sack that comes with it.
Care
Store the bag loose, never compressed. Wash rarely, with a down-specific detergent on a cold gentle cycle, then tumble dry low with two clean tennis balls until the clusters separate completely — expect two or three cycles. Do not dry clean.

A number we did not test is a number we will not print.
This bag has not been laboratory-tested to ISO 23537, so a comfort figure would be a guess dressed up as data. Across this price band you will find the same physical bag advertised as −10 °C by one shop and −20 °C by another.
Use the fill weight instead. It is measurable, it is on this page, and it compares directly against bags that have been tested.

Straight talk
It ships from our partners in Asia, and it is priced accordingly.
That is why the same specification costs less here than on the high street, and why it takes 7–14 working days instead of two. Tracked the whole way, taxes settled at checkout, nothing to pay at the door.
Finish the system
A bag is half of it.
Down compressed under your body loses almost all its loft, so the underside of the bag insulates you barely at all. Without a mat, the ground takes the heat.

The ground
Sleeping Mats
An air mat lifts you off cold, wet ground and takes the lumps out.
